Are you different in private and at work? I am!

People who know me in real life think I’m lazy, but they don’t know my work habits. In private, I’m actually just recharging after a full-time, 40-hour physical work week.

At work, I'm rarely idle. I always give my best, optimize my time, complete tasks on schedule, and strive for efficiency. I also plan ahead. That's the perfectionist side of me. I also maintain a clean workspace and tidy up whenever I have free time; well, not always, but that's a different story. I’m often told: to take it easy; there’s no rush.

Please don't judge me for being lazy in private. I need time to recover physically and recharge my mental energy after a long week, especially since I work closely with my colleagues.

So some weeks ago I wrote that I was single again, but things have changed over some Matcha 😂. It all started with me casually texting her that I was going out to chill and “might bump into her”. She immediately saw through the disguised invitation, haha.

Sometimes, the best plot twists happen over some matcha 🤪

So, here I am just dropping a little life update: we took some time apart, did some self-reflections, and we found our way back to each other. I am so happy to be sharing these everyday moments again with her. Cheers to second chances, or some more… 😚

Although not everything is perfect, we are gradually moving closer to each other.
